Construction Technology, 

a subject that allows me to know the process of how they build a foundation of the building and, how's scaffolding functioning and also the construction of both portal frame building and steel frame building. and most importantly is, we have the idea of safety on the site and also all the materials that are using on the site are all very important to each other.

From the assignment given by the lecturer, me and my group mates had to travel from one site to one site to know more of the information of how a construction site build the foundation, which foundation they are using for the site and the reason. 

Starting from the site visit of construction site for the assignment, i felt more grown up as I've learn things outside of the class, got to know the problems that will be facing from a construction site and how the workers cope with it. On the site, we had a little interview section with the project manager, which i found it is a very precious opportunity for student like us. Throughout the interview session, i got the idea of how's a work life is after the graduation, I got the idea of how to deal with the colleagues when I start working. 

 

Measurement 2 QSB 1124

Calculation of the staircases, walls and the ceilings of a building is very interesting.
Throughout the course, i knew the construction of these parts of a building. I knew more different types of ceiling and tiles that can be use on these parts of the building.

Communication between a team is very important, as in if we share the same plan with other people, it will help in saving a lot of time when calculating for certain part of the building. Communicate with people when I don't understand the drawing is very helpful.

Building Services 1 QSB 1714

Building Services, 

Throughout the semester, I got to learn the knowledge of telecommunication, ventilation, sewage system and hot and cold water supply of a building. I found it is very useful for me as I knew how's the process of the certain system. 

Besides, the assignment that handed in from the lecturer to my group is very interesting. 

Me and my other group mates chose the topic of "Building Integration of Solar Energy". I obsessed with all the building that integrated with the solar energy all over the globe during my research, i found it is very cool of how the solar energy turn into electricity for the whole building, or maybe can store it inside to storage to use next time. The building that integrated with the solar energy that I love the most is the Solar City Tower, which is for the Brazil Olympic Games 2016. It is going to the green leader of the world, by that time, people will get to know more of what solar energy is and I foresee the number of solar energy usage in the building will be increase in a few years time. 

Also me and my group mates went for a site visit to a really beautiful building in Putrajaya for the assignment, which is the "Diamond Building"

The building is integrated with the solar energy all of the rooftop topped with the solar panes. 90% of the harvested solar energy will then transfer to the TnB which the rest is use on the building itself. 

From the building itself, we got to know the types of the solar panels that they're using, how they installed the solar panels to the building. 

It was a very fun experiences from Building Services for getting know the information of a building and their functions are. 

Site Surveying QSB 1813

Site Surveying,
A very interesting class that I've been so far, indeed.
Getting to know more knowledge of how to use different machines to look for the distances from one point to one point and how to calculate errors for the misclosure.

The most coolest learning experience is when the lecturer thought us the traversing survey, i found it very very cool as in we get to know how do find the coordinate of a certain point and also know the way of finding the points back to each points by using the adjustment method.

From the report that the lecturer gave month ago, I got the chance of learning to write a appropriate report of leveling survey and traversing survey, besides, i got to know more of how to function the auto-level meter machine and know how important is if the machine is horizontal or no. Also, got to know how important communication is when we're going a group project and how to cope with all the difficulties we had when we carried out the survey..

The whole  learning process of Site Surveying class was way too fun that I've expected before the first lecturer.
